ya those are "HID Imitation" lights, they are usually just a higher watt bulb. i would recommend buying a set of PIAA GTX bulbs from lordco, they are a bit expensive, but they are well worth the money.

if your car uses sealed beam headlights you'll need to buy a conversion kit. ebay has them, lordco has them, revspot should have them, and same for pretty much every other tuner shop in richmond.

is there such thing as jus changing da light bulb to sumthin call a xenon lightbulb, and then i would hav while or blue light?? is there such a way...or is HID da only way...cuz i went on da web n found some xenon lightbulbs which only requires u to jus replace factory lightbulb, and u can have "brighter" lights.

This is basically what I have. bi-xenons with ballasts and all necessary wiring. all that was taken out was the original bulbs, no removal of healight housing. oh and it is worth noting, not all HID kits have high beams, this is why i got my bi-xenons.

i think he's talking about "Xenon" bulbs. they are just regular bulbs, just really bright.

and yes, for HID's if you want hi and lo (bi-xenon) you need to get a kit specifically for that, as you need the hi-beam actuator. it moves the bulb forward and backward.

i think this is a fair assessment: if it doesn't involve a ballast, then it's not worth your money to upgrade.

lol, trust me, when your car uses sealed beam halogen, anything is an improvement... even holding a flashlight out your window lol

hahaha the funniest thing just happened when i was at mcd's!

I'm at the end of the drive thru waiting for my food and some other car was directly in front of me (head to head) about 40-50 metres away. He starts to flash his high beams at me and at first I ignore him thinking to myself "You don't want me to high beam YOU". So i ignore him and he flashes me another 3 times. Finally, I BLAST him with my bi-xenons on high beam and he immediately turns to his left LOL.

you know what's also funny about HID + reflective housing? I can park directly beneath a lamp post and see my HID's reflecting onto it hahahaha. 90 DEGREES STRAIGHT UP!
