| I hope your questions are serious, cause i'm actually gonna take time to answer them How much depends on the quality of the light. Obviously. Around 200 and up. Install time depends on experience. Obviously. Some people can do it in 20 minutes, but for others it takes 20 minutes just to take the headlights out. Lifetime lasts on usage. Obviously. But quite a long time. _________________ |

1. wrong. 2. wrong.
Install time can be shortened if you know what you're doing yes, but also if you follow instructions it can be easy. Why the fuck do you remove headlight to change a bulb in the first place? 2000 Legacy does not require removal of headlights. Just pop the hood and replace them from behind the headlight, like every single other car.
Life time? No, usage, only partly depends on usage, both points you pointed out has nothing to do with HID as it's just common sense that usage wears out things. The brand of the HID, quality of the HID, quality of the bulbs, how you treat them, temperature, all could affect the life of a bulb, or a ballast._________________ Now with more JDM! |

ACTUALLY, 07 and 08 Civics require the removal of the splash guards in the wheel well in order to get to the bulbs. Which also means that the wheels would need to be removed. I don't know about Legacy's, but not every single car can have its bulbs switched by popping the hood. And by headlights I meant bulbs. Didn't mean the headlight cover. Mistake on my part not being clear
And of course it's gonna depend on all those things. $10 mo pai lights aren't gonna outlast a kaixen hid kit. Forgot about adding in those things_________________ |

| I never said EVERY CAR just pop the hood and you're done. I clearly stated that '2000 Legacy does not require removal of headlights', and not, 'installing HID does not require removal of headlights'. I know that 07/08 Civics require removal of that, because of obstruction in the engine bay, just look how short their front over hang is. _________________ Now with more JDM! |

| i am going to slap you both if you are thinking of suggesting this guy install HID's in Halogen reflector housings. if your car did not come from the factory with projector housings, take out your existing housing setup, and hope to god a higher model than yours came with projectors so that you have an oem replacement. you can get it from wreckers, the dealer, doesn't matter... this is the easiest way to go... if such is not the case for your car, you get to go through the fun of having your headlight housings retrofitted with projectors, which can get very expensive, very fast. for those of you that use HIDs in reflector housings, hope to god you don't run into me, my fist will want to have a chat with your face for blinding me with your "i'm too cheap to do it properly" HIDs. |

| is there such thing as jus changing da light bulb to sumthin call a xenon lightbulb, and then i would hav while or blue light?? is there such a way...or is HID da only way...cuz i went on da web n found some xenon lightbulbs which only requires u to jus replace factory lightbulb, and u can have "brighter" lights. |
