PostSubject: Wald International dress up the GT-R   Mon Sep 01, 2008 6:11 pm

Perhaps not as radical as the purpose built GT-R GT500 race car for the Japanese Super GT race series, but Wald's initial design, which is still in development, shows a menacing track-prepped look particularly with the rear wheel arch flairs, rivet clips included. Also in the kit are front bumper fascia, lower rear bumper fascia with integrated diffuser, side skirts, upper rear wing extension and lower lip spoiler on the deck lid - both in carbon fiber.

The front and rear bumper fascias at first glance appear over-styled with excessive air ducts and prominent non-functional rear diffuser, but still somehow manage to compliment the GT-R with just enough restraint without going too far.

UPDATE : Sept. 14, 2008
Our good friends over at Wald International sent us some nice interior pictures of their tuned GT-R. Gorgeous carbon fiber parts and a nice leather covered gear leaver with more leather on the dashboard... Please remember this is a work in progress and Wald will release more pictures of their little monster...

So stay tuned folks!

It's photoshopped in this picture.
Not that I'm not saying it won't become real.
