so for all u shutter heads

heres my setup..nothing fancy, gets the job done..

Canon 400D
17-85mm f4-f5.6 IS
18-55mm f3.5-5.6 kit lens

coming is
TOKINA ATX 10-17 FISHEYE

for the future
70-200mm F4 IS

the range on that zoom lens is secks
too bad..cnat afford the f2.8 ver

Just like turntablism, photography is one of those hobbies I'd love to try out but not want to invest in the equipment to do so.

my setup so far has me spending close to 1000cad
so its not too bad

like even the kit lens can do the banner pic + more!
its just that car photography sometimes requires a bit more such has a lighting setup for the best results
daytime, with what i have, is more than enuff

-Nikon D700 borrowed anytime from dad and for me to use at work lol
-Leica Digilux II
-Panasonic L1 which is really a Digilux III used at work borrowed from dad

Lens
-Nikon 24-120 VR lens for D700
-Nikon macro
-Nikon 24-110 i think
-not sure about the L1's lens

Studio - all from dad for me to use at work
-Falcon Eyes flash units x3
-Falcon Eyes flash standx4
-random pipes for photography table etc.

Tripod
-Gitzo dun remember the model
-Another Gitzo for work borrowed from dad
Ball head is some quick release one from Monfrotto(not sure on spelling)

Coming
-D300 when im done my job around end of this month

Future
-Fisheye!

where do u take photography? i was checking about a.i. photography courses and its like in seattle or something, but its a long way ahead so i didn't really look deep

I'm just a slight "power user" as darthchilli likes to put it.

I have a Canon G9, but I use it for decent shots. It's basically a super high-end point and shoot (not factoring the sigma DP1)

D700 belongs to my dad, i don't know much about it but neither does he since its still pretty new lol
im in hk right now for vacation and my dad stays in hk, but if i have a chance to bring it to vancouver, you could play with it lol
but chances of bringing it to van is pretty slim, but i'll bring a D300 back to vancouver
