haha yeah, i'm very surprised at how things are going so far! this season could be the refresher this team needs with all these new faces.

we see how things go
last night the city got to see the sedins play a beautiful game
only problem is now with bernier on the PP, he might just stand in front of the net, and the cycle game cant work and leaves a big hole on the blue line setting up a shooting position

pre-season may mean nothing on the books, but you gotta admit, it's a nice way to start things off this year.

i'm curious to see what happens on the powerplay as well. demitra will come into play here i predict.

demitra should play with the sedins just the way he moves and sees teh ice
and hten u throw in bernier on teh 2nd unit with kesler and raymond and it should be fine
that is if raymond still makes the team

this is fast becoming only a 2-person conversation haha. hoping for the best this year with the canucks, expectations aren't high, but i hope things work out well.

i wont trash your comment on Lui with the C..that is all, many people believe that by giving the goalie a C, he will argue EVERY SINGLE CALL. and hte NHL got rid of that 60+ years ago.

Nazzy? of course, he'd be back and he'd have an awesome season..
of course. Nazzy dont fit the way the canucks play, and him being a LEFT SHOT makes it hard for him to get in position to open up options to shoot/pass/dump.

Its good to see nazzy do well in NYR, it suits him better. Its a fast game over there

yeah, naslund was no longer effective in our style of play and he also admitted (after leaving) that the bertuzzi incident affected him a lot more than he led on. right after the whole bertuzzi thing, he started to slump, a lot.

i think it's fitting that Luongo is our captain, he's the most talented player on the team, the most dedicated, and also the one who wants to win more than anyone and anything.
